The singer-songwriter Brett James and his family die in the plane crash in North Carolina

Country Brett James’ Hitmateuser James, the emblematic man “Jesus, Take The Wheel” by Carrie Underwood, died Thursday in a plane crash in North Carolina. He was 57 years old.
The plane, belonging to James, transported two additional passengers who were also declared dead on the accident site. While new information on the accident is revealed, it has been revealed that these two passengers were his wife, Melody Carole Wilson, and his daughter-in-law, Meryl Maxwell Wilson.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) confirmed to Fox News Digital that the plane was registered in James under its legal name, Brett James Cornelius. He seemed to have controlled the plane.

“A CIRRUS SR22T crashed into a Franklin area … around 3 p.m. local time on Thursday, September 18. Three people were on board,” FAA shared in a statement.
A few months before his premature death, James shared a sincere moment with his relatives. On June 16, he was all smiling when he published a family photo.
“An incredible Fathers Day !!” James legend the Instagram publication.

Several days before his family post, the singer-songwriter shared a selfie of himself and his wife Melody on the beach.
“So much pleasure with my love in the Bahamas,” he legend the photo.

The plane crash occurred just a few days after James’ daughter-in-law Meryl celebrated her 28th anniversary.

On Instagram, Melody had published a sincere tribute to his daughter a sincere tribute, filled with photos of Meryl over the years.
“Happy Birthday my love !! How much am I blessed to be your mom!” She proudly wrote in the legend of social media.

“You are the most beautiful incredible human inside and outside! I am humiliated and recognizing every day for your shiny presence in my life! God has already used you for his kingdom in many ways and much more to come! No words can express what you are for me and all those who know you.”
The FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) are investigating the accident.

The plane took off from John C. Nashville Tune airport before crashing under still limited circumstances in Franklin’s woods. The authorities have not yet published additional details concerning the cause of the accident.
James’ illustrious career lasted decades, and he became one of the most successful and appreciated songwriters in Nashville.
He worked on more than 500 songs recorded by artists like Faith Hill, Kelly Clarkson, Luke Bryan, Keith Urban and Meghan Trainor.
While the investigation into the plane accident continues, the world of country music said the loss of a musical legend.
Country songwriter was best known for his work on “Jesus, Take the Wheel”, who not only won Underwood a Grammy, but also became a hymn of modern country music.

Underwood shared an emotional tribute to her longtime friend, describing James’ death as “unfathomable”.
“The loss of Brett James to his family, his friends and our musical community is too big to be put into words,” she wrote on Instagram.

James also co-written “Brussed” for Martina McBride and “Out last night” for Kenny Chesney, among many other graphics toppers.
In 2020, James was inducted into the temple of the names of the Nashville songwriters.
