The romance of Grasso & Lizzie echoes the tragic history of Mare & Zabel

Warning! Spoilers for the Episode 3 task!
Hbo Stain has just introduced its version of Easttown mare‘s mare and zabel. These two criminal dramas come from the same creator, Brad Ingelsby, who revealed that their stories exist in the same universe. This naturally means that there will be similarities and parallels between the two. Stain Episode 3 has just added another.
Stain Episode 3 spent a little time getting closer to Tom’s working group (Mark Ruffalo). This included the continuation of Anthony Grasso by Fabien Frankel and Lizzie Stover by Alison Oliver at the bar, where they had a mini “Don’t be released“Share drinks. Although things end strangely, it seems that a romance is about to develop here, as we did between Mare and Zabel StainHBO predecessor.
The romantic advice of Grasso & Lizzie make it the new version of Task de Mare & Zabel
Although Lizzie was a little thorny towards the Grasso in the previous episodes of StainShe really warmed herself up to him after his DJ confession. Now in Stain Episode 3, it is very obvious that it develops feelings. After frozen in the field, Lizzie turned to the Grasso for a certain support. Then the pair went to a glass.
Grasso is a little more kept than Lizzie, but he treats it with real kindness. His speech at the bar was a sign that he feels a little protective towards his teammate, and that seems only a matter of time before a spark goes further. This is precisely what we saw between Mare and Zabel Easttown mare. It was not quite enemies for lovers, but Mare was resistant before melting.
The end of Mare & Zabel indicates that the connection of Grasso & Lizzie will end with a tragedy
Unfortunately, a comparison with Mare and Zabel does not increase well for Grasso and Lizzie Stain. In Easttown mareZabel was killed out of no other, just before the eyes of a pond. It was a really horrible moment, proving that Easttown mare is not written as a romance. This is the burden of trauma on mental health, career and family, and Stain So far, has taken a similar angle.
THE Stain The character who shares the most common with Mare is Tom de Ruffalo, but it does not seem to be close to finding a new romance after the tragic death of his wife. Instead, the new HBO series seems to use Lizzie and Grasso to explore this avenue, and they are not particularly well set up. After all, it is likely that one of these two characters is a traitor.
End of Stain Episode 3 revealed that there is an informant somewhere in the Tom working group. It could be any of the three, but the Grasso is, so far, the most suspect. His comments on corrupt cops and the sudden need to leave his appointment with Lizzie to meet “someone“Tip that something is going on. A happy ending may not be in the cards.
