The Revolution Beauty Pelew off Lipller Stain: our honest criticism

Is the new beauty revolution the answer to your beauty problems?
We were all there. Taking sure that you have a lip pencil in your bag so that you can reapply as it wears throughout the day, when you take a sip of your coffee and your lining stands out. It is frustrating, tedious and frankly, not worth it.
But the Revolution Beauty Lip Shift Ink Peel Off Lipller Stain offers a different solution, promising to keep your lips pigmented all day. With its end point point, the applicator of the lip pencil has two main objectives: precision and mixture. The double -use applicator makes it easy and practical to use, which makes it perfect for travel and use of all day.
How does it work exactly? First of all, remove any product from your lips, making sure they are clean and dry. Then apply 1-2 layers of one of their five colors (inked pink, hunting chiate, bare conversation, red revelation or bitten cherry), and leave it for about 1 minute. Then take off to reveal the color that lasts all day.

I was pleasantly surprised by this lip pencil stain. The application takes a little practice – it is better to keep the baguette on an inclination to obtain the corners and the cupid arc, but I was able to line my lips with a beautiful thick line. The formula takes place quite dark, but don’t be intimidated. Once completely dried (about 5 to 10 minutes), the stain took off in a whole room really satisfactory and left a pretty pink color which was perfect for my naturally brown pink lips. The brand promises wear all day and delivers fully – my lips were always bordered after an entire day of work, eating and drinking.

I’m going to be honest, this is the first time that I try a lip pencil stain. I generally stay away from lip spots in general, only because I find that they often make my lips crack (sometimes dry), but I was intrigued by the fact that this task is supposed to provide more outline than full color. When you try it first, do not be mistaken: there is a little learning curve. Although the tip of the felt is quite thin, I had trouble aligning my lips. Once dried, the deletion process was not as transparent as I hoped either (there were certainly bits for things), but I was quite satisfied with the color – it was a really sweet brown that gave me a `your lips but better ”. The outline was not as defined as I had planned it, but I thought my lips seemed a little smaller. I added a glossy overtaking layer which, I think, really brought it to the next level. Overall, I would certainly try this product again, but as an ordinary spot on my lips. I think that, combined with a little brilliant is the key for the next time!

I tried the Revolution lip book, and honestly? It was disappointing. The texture was a bit dry and drawn during application – not the most fluid slide. It took an eternity to dry, which tested my patience. The color gain was solid at first, but it fades significantly in the 3 to 4 hours, especially after a meal. On the positive level, he did not bled in the fine lines around my lips, so no disorderly edges. But for something also marketed in the long term, the power of stay was simply not there. Nice range of shades, but overall, is not worth effort or reapplication.

I have already used pel-off lip spots, so I was curious to see how the coloring of the comparative beauty lip pencil and if it was up to wear “all day”. I chose a shade near my color of natural lip, so even if the result was not dramatic, it subtly bypassing and defined my lips in a way that I liked. The applicator was a flexible plastic feather rather than a padded point, which allowed a precise application, but sometimes took place a little uneven. The formula itself was thick and took a few layers to build a layer that would end up properly-the pre-naughty shade looked much darker and brighter than the end result, which was a soft and natural coloring. In terms of wear time, he definitely resisted the first half of my day, but because the shadow was so close to my natural tone, it was difficult to say exactly when he was. Although I would not count for a daring and dramatic look, it is a fun and low -maintenance way to obtain a subtle definition without the need to reapplicate.

I am generally not a lip pencil girl because 1) I am afraid of Surlin my lips and 2) I hate to reapplicate while I went out. This lips of lips resolves at least the second concern with its sustainable formula which survived the lunch that I ate after having tested the product. However, my first concern is only amplified by the difficulty of my first attempts to use the single applicator wand. But for the beautiful shade and the easy coat formula, I think it’s worth working that.
