The East Zone team was chosen by Alokindu Lahiri from Bengal, Abakash Khatua of Odisha, Sunil Kumar Singh of Bihar, Manish Wardhan de Jharkhand, Sumit Ranjah Das of Tripipura, with the secretary of the Jharkhand of the Jharkhand Saurabh Tiwary.
Abhimhanyu Easwaran was appointed vice-captain of the zone team is chosen by the selectors. The veteran drummer is currently part of the India test team for the 2025 Anderson-Tendulkar trophy.
Meanwhile, Akash Deep, Mukesh Kumar and Riyan Parag are also part of the East Zone team, but Sudip Chatterjee has been ignored.
The teenage feeling Vaiibhav Suryavanshi was maintained on the Standby with Sudip Kumar Gharami, Mukhtar Hussain, Aasirwad Swain, Swastik Samal and Rahul Singh.
