Phoenix – A man is dead and a woman is in the hospital after a house fire broke out in Glendale on Tuesday evening, the authorities announced.
The firefighters of the Phoenix and Glendale fire services were sent to the 43rd avenue and Greenway Road area to report a structure fire around 6 p.m., according to the Phoenix fire service.

When the crews arrived, there were heavy flames and smoke from inside the house.
They quickly started fire fighting efforts as well as research and rescue efforts.
Inside the house, the firefighters found an adult man who was unconscious and did not breathe. He was then declared dead on the scene.
An adult woman was transported to hospital with minor burning injuries.
