New Balance reveals Tekela V5, next generation of its signature control boot

New Balance raised the curtain on the Tekela V5, the fifth generation of its signature control silo.
Following on the game leaders who have read the game, the boot focuses on touch, traction and comfort in a rationalized package.
A single microfiber tacttech in one room transports shallow dejected channels and printed handle areas, giving an almost glove type sensation on the ball. At the top, a stretchy hypoknit neck rolls the ankle for transparent locking, eliminating the layers that can attenuate the first contact.
Under the feet, a nylon plate mixes conical studs with TPU rims tilted in the forefoot, providing rapid release in all directions – ideal for tight turns and instant acceleration.
The launch color is impossible to ignore: solar base for visibility, black overlays framing technological zones and red lightning for assault success. Everything is designed to echo Tekela mantra: see the invisible, control the moment.
Expect to locate the Tekela V5 on Endrick’s feet, Jordan Huitema, Harvey Elliott and Tim Weah in future devices, offering real-time demo of the references of the boot.
Fans can catch the first Tekela V5 edition from June 24, 2025 exclusively on the official New Balance website. A wider version of retail followed on July 24, with more dyes that should take place later in the season.
A light construction, a locked necklace and a technology focused in contact make the Tekela V5 a real upgrade – perfect for players who perform the game with vision and precision.
