The Reds championship player recently released Jeimer Candelario Signs from the agreement with the Yankees

New York Yankees have signed the former interior field player of Reds Jeimer Candelario to a minor league agreement, according to Conor Foley in Yes Network.

The Reds released the veteran field player in June.

Candelario only struck .113 with two circuits with cincinnati this season.

In April, he was placed on the injured list with lumbar column tension. Candelario made an rehabilitation assignment and played in 15 games with Triple-A Louisville where he also had trouble, reducing .211 / 318 / .333.

In December 2023, the Reds signed Candelario to an agreement of $ 45 million over three years.
