Police identified him on Monday as Tevin Hood, 33, from Snellville. Hood, also known as T-Hood, gained notoriety in Atlanta for his 2020 song “Perculator” and “Ready 2 GB”, released in 2022.
After the shots, the police said that a person had been detained on the scene and was interviewed by detectives.
“The case is the subject of an investigation as a homicide,” said the police. “There is no active threat to the public.”
