The production office coordinator was 102

Adeline Leonard Seakwood, who was coordinator of the production office on Defenders,, The Patty Duke Show,, Negotiations,, Group boys,, Matlock And more, is dead. She was 102 years old.

Leonard Seakwood died on Wednesday at his home in Punta Gorda, Florida, his daughter, advertising Nanette Leonard, said The Hollywood Reporter.

His credits also included films such as Popi (1969), The Sept-Us (1973), Death wish (1973), Godspell (1973), Three days of the Condor (1975), Superman (1978), Ragtime (1981), Recommence (1979), Annie (1982), Groove Krush (1985), The secret of my success (1987) and Joe against the volcano (1990).

She worked alongside actors, including EG Marshall, Christopher Reeve, Michael J. Fox, Robert Redford, Farrah Fawcett, Peter Falk, Robert Reed and Paul Newman, to name a few.

When she celebrated her 100th anniversary, Redford has signed a photo of their time on the set of Three days of the Condor And sent him warm wishes.

Born January 27, 1923 in Brooklyn and grew up there, Adeline Leonard worked as a model for John Robert Powers before venturing into the theater, and she appeared in Alfred Hitchcock’s North by the northwest (1959).

As co-founder of the local section 161 / IATSE in New York, she directed a successful campaign to modify the title of production secretary to the production office coordinator (the position is now known as the production coordinator). She was honored with a life prize for her union achievements in 2008.

(The local section 161 represents script supervisors, production accountants, payroll accountants and production coordinators).

Leonard Seakwood also taught a course at the new New York school.

She lived a large part of her life in New York until she married the Major des Marines US Herbert J. Seakwood in 1980. They moved more than 30 years ago to Punta Gorda, where she would welcome new residents in town for three decades as “Sunshine Lady” for Punta Gorda Isles Civic Association.

It has also been voluntary for more than 25 years with the Isles Girls & Guys – a non -profit organization under the PGICA which organized sales of succession – as Greeter.

She was known for her warmth, kindness and signing hugs and to dance every month at Harpoon Harry.

The survivors include her daughters, Nanette and Janine; Little Children Morgan, artilleryman (Corisa) and Ian (Natalie); and great grandchildren Carsten, Ronen and Troy. Her husband died in 2016 at 96.

Donations in his memory can be made at the Peace River Wildlife Center or the animal protection league. A celebration of his life will be announced later.
