“Oh, is Hulk dead? I didn’t even know. Well. One Maga less in the world,” read the comment since deleted from Rockwell.

In a tracking comment, added Rockwell, “[H]He worked with the McMahons for Union Bust Professional Wrestling. [H]He was never a good guy. I feel absolutely nothing in his death. “”

Once his comments have become viral on social networks, Rockwell deleted and apologized for them on his official Facebook account of the School Board.

“A few days ago, I made a cruel and casual comment of my personal Facebook account on the post of a friend concerning the death of Hulk Hogan,” she wrote on Saturday. “I deeply regret making this comment and I since deleted. I want to understand very clearly that I have never done it and that I would never wish to harm anyone, that we shared political opinions. Although I do not agree with some of the comments that Hulk Hogan made, it is not an excuse for my comment.”

Rockwell added: “I also sincerely apologize for the way my comment has eroded the confidence in my ability to represent all the students, families and staff of the county of Alachua. I want to assure you that the best interest of our children and our public schools are at the center of everything I do as a member of the board of directors. Insensitive comment.
