The President of the FCC urges youtube to solve the dispute on the Fox cart before the power failure

The president of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), Brendan Carr, had net words for Google while the technological company sails in a new transport agreement between Youtube TV and Fox News: “Perform a Google agreement!”
The current transport agreement is expected to expire on Wednesday at 5 p.m.
“Google Removing YouTube TV Fox channels would be a terrible result,” wrote Carr on X. “Millions of Americans count on YouTube to solve this dispute so that they can continue to watch the news and sports they want – including the big game of this week: Texas @ Ohio State. Make a Google case!”
YouTube TV currently offers Fox, Fox Sports, FS1, FS2, Big Ten Network, Fox Deportes, Fox News Channel and local Fox stations across the United States.
“While Fox remains determined to reach a fair agreement with Google YouTube TV, we are disappointed that Google continuously exploits its disproportionate influence by offering terms that are out of step with the market,” Fox spokesperson said on Monday. “We will alert Fox viewers who are YouTube television subscribers that they could lose access to a large part of their news, sports, entertainment and favorite local station programs unless Google undertakes significantly.”
If the two parties do not conclude an agreement, it is possible that YouTube TV customers will no longer be able to access the NFL, university football, the Big Ten network and the Major League Baseball.
In a blog article shared on Monday, YouTube said that Fox asked for payments “much higher than partners with comparable content offers.”
“Our priority is to achieve an agreement that reflects the value of their content and is just for both parties without transmitting additional costs to our subscribers,” also said the company.
YouTube TV is the fourth employee television operator behind Charter Communications, Comcast and Directv.
