The Podcast Rhule Started from Nebraska; Will support anyone for players

Matt Rhule is so excited by what he does at Nebraska that he means as many people as possible.

Thursday, the third year coach started his weekly “House Rhules” podcast. He and his friend, Philadelphia Radio Sports Talk, Anthony Gargano, are co-animators.

“This is the new world of university sports,” Rhule said on Friday.

Rhule said he wanted to give the public an overview of his program and share his reflections on university football, professional sports and pop culture, among others.

The podcast can help build the brands of the football and university program, said Rhule, and is also a way for players who appear to earn money, image and resemblance.

Rhule already has a great media presence. He regularly appears on other sports podcasts, and the Nebraska social media team this summer has created short videos “Walk-And-Talk” with Rhule.

Huskers have gone from 5-7 to 7-6 in the first two years of rhle, and it expects more improvement this season. They open up against Cincinnati at the Arrowhead stadium in Kansas City, Missouri, Thursday.

Rhule said he should plan an additional hour of work one day a week to put out a quality podcast.

“Let’s go and hope, get interesting guests and do it all year round,” he said. “So we will do it until no one looks at it, then we will cancel it. If people look at it, we will do it and I will do my best with it.”
