The platform trilogy that we all knew was mediocre even in the 90s is back with a collector’s edition of $ 200 with illustrations of the legend of Final Fantasy Yoshitaka Amano

GEX – Yes, Gex, the 90s platform series on a WECKO WISECRACKING expressed by DANA GOULD – is the last vintage title to obtain the ReMaster treatment. For all the intermediate criticisms that the series withdrawn during the day, I am not sure that anyone could have predicted that we would one day see a sumptuous collection of $ 200 gex trilogy with illustrations by the legendary Yoshitaka Amano.
The Gex trilogy launches digitally in June, with modernized analog controls and the management of large screen visuals. The package seems fairly well put well and takes place on the limited game carbon engine, which has propelled solid remasters in the past.
It’s just, you know … the gex of all this. The original 2D title has obtained mediocre criticisms in the 6-7 range, and while the first 3D entry, enter the Gecko, is decently with scores of about 8 out of 10, the last piece of the trilogy, the gecko of deep cover, was considered pretty.
To watch
However, it seems that there is enough nostalgia for Gex in order to justify a collector’s edition of $ 200, which is delivered with a 36 “inflatable gex doll and a gex statue of 7” alongside other goodies, all wrapped in a box illustrated by Yoshitaka Amano, which you probably know the best for the absolutely magnificent final fantastic art over the years.
“You may know him about his work on a less known Square Enix franchise,” say the developers in a steam post, “so it was logical to finally give him the opportunity to illustrate their best – Gex!” Well, at least they have a sense of humor on the whole.
Listen, I like old games, maybe even especially Mediocre and bad, but I find myself constantly disconcerted by the remasters we get these days. But hey, if everything, to Glover in Bubsy 3D, can get a modern port, I suppose that we can at least count Gex as a stage of these games. I just find it difficult to imagine who is ready to pay $ 200 for that.
Sorry, gex fans, it is not counted in our list of Best PS1 games.
