The pirates asked to hire an old legend of the Yankees to keep Paul Skenes in Pittsburgh

The media would still like Pittsburgh Pirates to go from Paul Skenes, a decision that would simply not have any sense from Pittsburgh’s point of view.
Not only do the hackers have the best arm of Major League Baseball, but he is only 23 years old and does not strike the free agency before 2030.
Even if hackers don’t think they can keep Skenes one day, they still have a few years with him on the list before having to consider moving it.
What can pirates do to make Paul Skenes happy?
However, with questions about what the long-term future of pirates looks like, in particular with another fifth place in the central of the National League, unless everything that is happening radical with the Cardinals of Saint-Louis, and to dismiss his manager in the middle of the campaign, some believe that the pirates must allow Skenes to make the next decision on who will be the director of the team.
When searching for potential names, Jake Elman de Fandeded listed the old New York Don Mattingly Yankees legend as an option.
“If the pirates explore other coach candidates, then they should ask for Skenes what he – and by extension, his teammates – wants in a next manager. Does the clubhouse of the pirates want a manager oriented towards the strikes, or would he prefer someone with a pitch background? What should they think of Skenes?
“These are certainly fundamental questions, but they are hackers that hackers need to chat with Skenes. Pittsburgh clearly indicated that they did not intend to exchange their AS soon, despite the high transport they would probably receive in return,” he wrote.

Mattingly is currently with Toronto Blue Jays as a bench coach and has management experience with Miami Marlins and Los Angeles Dodgers.
He remains uncertain if he wants to be a full -time manager again in the future, but he could be a decent adjustment for Pittsburgh.
