Arsenal seeks to add quality to the Mikel Arteta team, and with a midfielder who was already arriving, another could be closer to his home.
Arsenal is on the market for a new left winger and attacker, but before that, an agreement for Martin Zubimenddi has already been sealed. Real Sociedad Pivot will join in July, and it may not be the only midfielder to move to the Emirates this summer.
An attack midfielder could also be brought to ensure competition at Martin Odegaard, who did not have his best season in 2024-25. And one of the players of the Arsenal radar is the Leicester playmaker, Bilal El Khannouss.

El Khannouss will almost certainly leave Leicester after their relegation to the championship, and according to AfricaFoot, Arsenal is favorites to win his signature. It has been reported that an agreement on personal conditions has already been concluded with the 21 -year -old representatives, which means that a cost agreement is all that remains before an agreement can be concluded.
Leicester is resigned to El Khannouss from this summer, and staying in the Premier League will give him the best chance of ensuring that it is included in the Morocco team for the African Cup of Nations in 2026, which takes place in mid-season.
El Khannouss impressed by Leicester last season, when he had collected three goals and five assists in 36 appearances. And as a team player, he would be an excellent addition for Arsenal. It is unlikely that its value is too much given the circumstances, and at 21, it has a lot of space to grow.
It remains to be seen if Arsenal can conclude an agreement for El Khannouss in the coming weeks. Other clubs, including Newcastle and Aston Villa, have shown interest, but the finalists of the Premier League are favorites at this stage.
