“Washington Black” by Sterling K. Brown obtains a first date in Hulu

Hulu set a first date in July for Washington BlackAdaptation to the brown sterling border of the novel by Esi Edugyan. The series, which received a direct order, will be launched with the eight episodes on Wednesday July 23 on Hulu in the United States and Disney + internationally.

Based on the successful novel of the same name, Washington Black Follows the 19th century of the 19th century of George Washington “Wash” Black, an eleven -year -old boy born in a barbadic sugar plantation, whose prodigious scientific spirit places it on an unexpected path of destiny. When a painful incident strengthens, he is plunged into an adventure that questions and reshapes his understanding of the family, freedom and love. While he sails on unknown lands and impossible chances, Wash finds the courage to imagine a future beyond the limits of the society in which he was born.

Brown Stars and Executive produces the series. Ernest Kingsley Jr., Rupert Graves, Iola Evans, Edward Bluemel, Sharon Duncan Brewster, Eddie Karanja and Tom Ellis.

Washington Black is produced by 20th television in association with Indian Meadows Productions and the Gotham group. Selwyn Hinds, Kim Harrison, Brown, Ellen Goldsmith-Vein, Wanuri Kahiu, Mo Marable, Rob Seidenglanz, Jeremy Bell, Lindsay Williams, DJ Goldberg, Jennifer Johnson and Anthony Hemingway Executive Produce.
