The original end of Jurassic World Rebirth was revealed by director Gareth Edwards
Jurassic World Rebirth Finally, is there, and although the opinions of criticism is divided, all the signs indicate that the film is a success at the box office for Universal Pictures this long weekend of July 4. Next week, however, he will have to face Superman.
Depending on the way things take place in the coming weeks, Jurassic World Rebirth will either be an autonomous adventure or the start of a new trilogy for the longtime franchise. If a follow -up happens, this should help the tracks of the film, played by Scarlett Johansson, Jonathan Bailey and Mahershala Ali, living to fight another day.
However, this was not always the case.
In the version of the film you will see in theaters this weekend, Duncan Kincaid of Ali seems to sacrifice himself while distracting the D-Rex so that his friends can escape. A few moments later, a rocket pushed in the sky, and he saved (You can read complete ventilation of the end here).
Talk to Variety (via sffgazette.com), Jurassic World Rebirth Director Gareth Edwards explained how the end evolved and revealed what was the original plan for Kincaid.
“He went back and forth several times. In the project I have read for the first time, he died, and I thought:” It’s great! “We started to continue Mahershala, and for any reason, we have the impression that if we were going to get Mahershala, we have to keep him alive, right?” I accepted, so I joined the Mahershala team and we both pushed him to kill him;
“While we were turning, the studio said,” Listen, we don’t have time to shoot pick-up or any recovery. Just to be safe, get equipment, in case we need him to live. “In my mind, I know how it works; whatever the film in the film, so you have to be careful.
“But, when we edited the film and the director cut, I ended up sending the version that killed him. It went well, but the studio said:” Oh, it’s great. But can we just see the version where he lives? “We didn’t put it together, so we turned over and edited this, and everyone just said:” It must be that. “We did two test projections and the reaction to live, everyone was much happier.”
Universal clearly thinks of Johansson, Bailey and Ali being the new faces of Jurassic world franchise. However, if we believe Edwards, no one approached him to direct a sequel. Not yet, at least.
“The honest truth is that we had only one conversation with anyone on this subject – not the studio, not the producers, not David and not Steven,” he revealed. “No one has said a word. I think it’s because we don’t want to do anything.
We will see what is happening, but Edwards appears satisfied with both the end of the studio and the way the film met when everything was said and done. The question of whether the public agrees will decide what comes next.
