The opening of Kennedy Center’s “miserables” reflects Trump’s takeover

Donald Trump, walking the red carpet for the performance of the opening evening of The miserable At Kennedy Center, insisted again that it was not for his federalization of the National Guard, “Los Angeles would burn the soil right now.”
“These are radical crazy people you are dealing with, and they are difficult, they are intelligent, they have probably paid many of them. They are professionals,” Trump told journalists. “… They cut concrete and use it like a weapon. It’s pretty bad.”
The evening was Trump’s first visit to a performance by Kennedy Center in this quarter, and the first since he designed a takeover of the Arts Institution only a few weeks after returning to the White House. The president dismissed Joe Biden’s appointed people to the board of directors of Kennedy Center, ensuring that she was dominated by his own allies. The president of Kennedy Center, Deborah Rutter, was also chopped, and Trump himself became president, ousted David Rubenstein.
Trump said $ 10 million had been collected during a VIP reception linked to Miz performance. Its tax package, now in the Senate, has also asked that more than $ 250 million be spent on Kennedy Center renovations. “We want to bring him back and bring him better than ever,” said Trump.
On the red carpet, Trump was dotted with questions ranging from the status of the Iranian nuclear agreement to the first performance he ever saw (it was Cats).
Asked about Elon Musk’s apology on X, published early Wednesday morning, Trump said: “I really didn’t think about it too much.”
The president also addressed the distribution members to skip the performance of the Kennedy Center because of his attendance. “I don’t care,” he said.
Earlier, Vice-President JD Vance, on the red carpet with the second Lady Usha Vance, was asked to be hued earlier this year when he attended a performance. “This is one of the things you register for. There were huts and cheers, and I’m sure you will have a bit of both today.”
The performance was also opened to the public, and among those spotted, there were two men in drag. They refused to give their names or say if they provided a kind of protest, but their presence itself is a declaration. By taking charge of the center, Trump denounced what he considered as a “awakened” program and mentioned trail performance.
Among the participants, there was a mixture of Trump allies and managers of the executive branch, a turning point in Biden, and even Trump’s first mandate. He then jumped the honors of Kennedy Center.
The people spotted included the Attorney General Pam Bondi, the Secretary of Health and Social Services Robert Kennedy Jr. and Cheryl Hines, and Laura Loomer. Corey Lewandowski said it was his first time in the center, even if he said he had trained “1,000 times”. “It is quite historic to have the opportunity to come to this very famous building,” he said.
