The old house of Kate Moss in St John’s Wood for sale for 5.95 million pounds sterling
Hidden behind high walls on a somewhat forecast street on the sidelines of St John’s wood is a Georgian house of white stucco with low construction entirely surrounded by a large garden.
No wonder when Kate Moss, formerly elusive of the models, chose her in 2002 when she bought the six -bedroom house for 1.75 million sterling pounds.
Moss lived in the house of 4,740 square feet with his daughter Lila Grace.
“The beauty of being here is that you are invisible to the road and the former owners liked it.
“The intimacy of the house, the fact that it has a fabulous enclosed garden is a real argument for the sale of the property.
“It is quite anonymous, there are many people who want houses that do not cry wealth and are a little more discreet,” said Marc Schneiderman of Arlington Residential who markets the property.
Moss has put its own stamp on the decor, with a neon -lit feast area and a jungle theme, touches that have since been stripped in favor of a more neutral decor.
It then sold in 2012 around the summit of the London real estate market. Current owners bought the property from the model for 6.85 million pounds sterling and have now put it on the market for 5.95 million pounds sterling.
Schneiderman says that prices downwards like this are not uncommon on the current market. “In 2014, the market really dropped. Now we are selling houses for the owners who have bought them in the past 10 years unless they have paid, “he said.
The agent has a long association with the property because she was one of the first he sold 30 years ago, when he succeeded £ 800,000, “which at the time was a very good price”.
As Moss bought him an extension of the basement had been added, which now includes a open-plan kitchen dining room and a living space.
