What do we have here? Invada Films started a British trailer for an independent film of survival entitled GameDirected by filmmaker John Minton as his beginnings as a director. Do not confuse with the Gerard Butler video game action film Player From 2009. Game is a thriller set during the British rave scene of the 90s, where two men, a thief and a brave, must use their mind to survive after a car accident in the woods. It is produced by Geoff Barrow from the Portishead group, trying something new. With Marc Besant & Jason Williamson. The first official of the United Kingdom will take place on October 16 during the opening evening of the Mayhem Film Festival in Nottingham, before the film arrived the British theaters in November. But still not yet an American outing set for this one. The film looks like an experimental experimentation and independent horror, mixing nature and raves and psychological mania and more. What’s going on with these guys in the forest? Keep an eye on it …

At the end of the summer of 1993. After having stolen a reserve of money and drugs, the aging Raver David (Marc Bessant) crashed his car deeply in the woods – trapped in the wreck, wounded and helpless, it is suspended between life and death. When a mysterious poacher (Jason Williamson) discovers it, no rescue comes, only a vigilant and disturbing presence which seems determined to let nature finish work. As the hours extend and the elements are getting closer, a tense and claustrophobic battle of will, and of mind, where the survival depends on the distress both the desert and the predator on board. Game is produced by the British filmmaker John MintonMaking his debut as a director with this new project. The scenario is co-written by Geoff Barrow, Marc Bessant, John Minton and Rob Williams. It is produced by Geoff Barrow and Deborah Rawlings. This is presenting some small festivals before it reaches theaters. Invada Films will make his debut Game Film in British cinemas starting November 21, 2025 This fall. No American release date is yet fixed – stay listening. Who is curious?
