The Newcastle star added to the summer list

Leeds plans to add a Premier League experience to his team for next season, and there are many in Newcastle. They are aware of this, which is why they aligned one of the current players of Eddie Howe as a possible target for the transfer window this summer.

It is clear that the Daniel Farke team will need important additions this summer if Leeds should avoid immediate relegation to the championship. And a position that is likely to be addressed is the attacker, especially since there are doubts about Mateo Joseph, who was linked to the finalists of the UEFA conference, Real Betis, remaining at the club for next season.

Jamie Vardy was linked to Leeds, and now another experienced first league striker is on their radar: Callum Wilson.

As Football Insider reported, Leeds weighed Wilson as an option before the summer transfer window. The 33 -year -old man is expected to leave Newcastle when his contract expires at the end of June, the winners of the Carabao Cup who should not offer him a new agreement.

West Ham was also linked to Wilson, who should stay in the Premier League next season even if he leaves Newcastle. And Leeds would be able to ensure it to also remain in the elite, although they are able to guarantee a regular starting place since Joel Piroe should continue in the alignment.

It remains to be seen if Leeds makes a concrete attempt to sign Wilson, but there is no doubt that he would be a good semi -fed option – provided he can overcome his injury problems.
