The New Yorker Festival announces its full range 2025

TIl New Yorker has published the full range of the New York Festival 2025, which takes place from October 24 to 26 in the magazine’s hometown and features appearances and performances by conducting voices in literature, cinema, comedy, television, politics and medicine. Lights including Salman Rushdie, Percival Everett, Demi Moore, Jon Stewart, Lina Khan, Jonathan Groff, Keanu Reeves, Sarah Jessica Parker, Zadie Smith and Padma Lakshmi will join New York Writers and publishers for an invigorating range of conversations, projections, etc., part of the celebration of the magazine of its hundredth anniversary. Tickets are now on sale for all events, with exclusive discounts for subscribers.
In addition to interviews and panels, the festival will host New York’s premiere of “The New Yorker At 100”, a next Netflix documentary that immerses the first century of the magazine and follows staff members while gathering the number of the hundredth anniversary. The film was destroyed last week at the Telluride Film Festival and was directed by Marshall Curry, winner of the Academy Prize for the 2019 Live Short Film “The Neighbors’ Window”. Judd Apatow, executive producer of the New York Documentary, will appear alongside Curry for a discussion after the projection.
The 2025 festival will also offer a recording of podcasts, round tables on a range of political and cultural subjects, a cartoon master’s class taught by two of the beloved artists of the magazine and a trivia competition on the sting stage New York writers against publishers.
