Sky Sports Man Anthony Joseph now reports that Celtic is looking at another striker alongside Michel-Oge’s Balikwisha this summer.
Celtic scope contract in principle to sign Balikwisha
The hoops did not always have things in their own way during the current transfer window, Brendan Rodgers recently alluding to his frustration in the face of a lack of business.

On the positive side, a recent report said that Celtic had reached an agreement to sign Royal Antwerp Balikwisha’s striker, who was a long -standing target for the Champions of Scotlers.
The 24-year-old could be exactly what Rodgers is looking for in the coming days because he seeks to strengthen his attack options, especially for his team to be able to give a better account of themselves in the Champions League this season.

NOW, Sky Sports Joseph journalist said Celtic “sought to sign another striker” alongside Balikwisha before the windows close.
That said, he also declares that “two new wingers” are also potentially considered an alternative option, allowing Daizen Maeda to then take a role forward, with Adam Idah, Shin Yamada and Johnny Kenny the rescue players in this position.
Fans of Celtic would like to see an additional attacker sign for Rodgers, especially since it would show a lot of ambition after a lack of this was probably often exposed this summer.
It remains to be seen who could be the attacker in question with Balikwisha, but some names have been presented recently, including the Leicester City legend, Jamie Vardy.
At 38, the best days in English are now long behind him, but that does not mean that he could not be a success in Scottish first for a year or two.
Vardy could be an older addition alongside Balikwisha, allowing Rodgers to bring in both relative youth and a wide experience, the former hero of Foxes always having the rhythm and the capacity of finish to disturb the defenses, as well as the character to make him an instant favorite among the base of fans.
