The new characters in Foundation Season 3 is now properly installed and started to contribute more significantly to the broader story.
Foundation started as one of Apple TV +’s best science fiction programs, and season 3 has not disappointed so far. Although recent episodes were not particularly full of action, they played an important role in setting up the current part of FoundationThe vast chronology that tells of the fall of the Empire. “The stress of his respect” is the place where everything about the construction of the world is starting to bear fruit.
The Massive Demerzel Twist is excellent news for the rest of the foundation season 3

The revelation that Lady Demerzel (Laura Birn) was the brain behind the destruction of the star bridge In FoundationThe pilot episode of the episode seems moved – in the best possible way. It is enormous information to digest, and yet “the stress of his respect” shares him with the public in the first minutes of the episode.
“The stress of her respect” could easily have ended with this Demerzel scene if she had wanted, but the fact that it is not is very exciting.

I found the love story of Gaal & Han strangely distracting, but I’m sure it will pay
Season 3 of the Foundation has better arcs on which it could concentrate
Foundation has once again found a way to reverse expectations by combining its ambitious scenario with shorter and more “realistic” arcs. In “The stress of his respect”, the Space Opera shares events that had only occurred that off screen, which revolve around Gaal Dornick (Lou Llobel) and Han Pritcher (Brandon P. Bell).
I understand perfectly what Foundation Try to do Gaal and Han in what should be an untenable romance. To a certain extent, I find it interesting. However, it seems that it currently bothers more interesting scenarios.
On the other hand, I am convinced that Han’s wedding offer will finally wreak havoc for the second foundation, which will be interesting. So, I don’t mind sitting at the start of another slow combustion arc if the possible gain is worth waiting. However, with the rest of the season in full flow at the end of episode 4, I don’t know how wise it is to start this Gaal arc now.

Cleon XXIV is really looking forward to escaping his functions for good
Lee Pace primary Foundation The character of season 3, Cleon XXIV – Currently Brother Day – has been a particularly unconventional iteration of the original emperor since the return of the series. He returned his throne and rather chose to live a leisure life as far as possible from imperial events.
From the manufacture of simulated robot noise to Demerzel to spit at the feet of the holographic image of Cleon I, to look at the impact of the genetic drift on Cleon XXIV is dark and fun.
“The stress of his respect” pushes this fascinating arc further than ever By increasing the character of Pace, the disrespectful behavior towards everything that is remotely linked to its functions. From the manufacture of simulated robot noise to Demerzel to spit at the feet of the holographic image of Cleon I, to look at the impact of the genetic drift on Cleon XXIV is dark and fun.
Of course, Day’s successful intrigue to flee for mycogen in search of Song (Yootha Wong-Loi-Sing) brings the arc of the rebellious character of Pace to the head, which makes it clear how long it will be able to escape the empire and live the life it wants if really.
Season 3 of the Foundation brilliantly strengthens the tension for the return of its biggest villain
The mule is held to a very limited role in “the stress of its respect”
“The stress of his respect” provides a convincing analysis of what the two sides of the war bring to the debate of good against evil. He does so by not overcrowding the episode with figures that definitively belong to a camp or to the other. The most significant absence is the mule (Pilou Asbæk), which appears only in a flashback.

The character of Asbæk is clearly a force fromand it is annoying to have it out of sight for an entire episode of Foundation Season 3.
