Based on the books by legendary science fiction author Isaac Asimov, Foundation presents a massive and extremely complex future world, full of intrigue, politics, fascinating sci-fi concepts and a great story. In short, Foundation it’s everything a space opera is supposed to be.
Foundation season 3 really helped the series earn this distinction. The introduction of the mule and all the complications the villain brought with him raised both the stakes and the twisty, fascinating plot of the series. NOW, Foundation proved worthy of the high bar set by Asimov and serves as an example of how to turn a great sci-fi epic into a television show.
Most Star Wars TV shows can’t compete with Foundation
FoundationThe massive success of as a space opera television show also highlights the number of Star Wars“Entries in the subgenre have fallen flat. Such Star Wars shows, like Ahsoka, Obi-Wan Kenobi, The Book of Boba Fettand even The Mandalorian simply pales in comparison to Foundation. Star Wars movies, not shows, are meant to be in-depth explorations of a vast and vibrant galaxy. The shows follow less popular, less powerful characters who go on more personal journeys.
