Apple’s Watch Ultra Watch range is weird, but if you have the dough and you need a watch that can withstand an even more active lifestyle than yours, this is probably worth investing. Apple has just launched the latest Apple Watch Ultra 3 in addition to a new Apple Watch SE, and both are fairly decent upgrades.
Apple’s latest event saw the announcement of two new Apple Watch entries, the Apple Watch Ultra 3 and the new Apple Watch SE 3. The show of the show is the Apple Watch Ultra 3, and it has a lot to offer compared to its predecessor. The most important addition here is perhaps the introduction of bidirectional satellite communications. This allows you to send and receive text messages, share your location via Find MY, and contact emergency services even when it is far from cell coverage or Wi-Fi. This feature is free for two years with the purchase of the device. The device also adds 5 g cell capabilities for faster data speeds when you are also back on the grid.
The Ultra 3 has the largest screen of all time on an Apple watch, with an OLED LTPO3 screen which allows a cooling rate always on 1 Hz, allowing a second hand without a significant battery emptying. The screen borders have been reduced by 24%, increasing the active screen area in the same case size, so you have a larger screen but a smart watch also of identical size.
Another big point to remember here is the battery life, which sees a significant improvement. It is now evaluated up to 42 hours of standard and extended use at 72 hours in low power mode. For athletes, the watch can now maintain 20 hours of continuous training monitoring with complete GPS and heart rate monitoring in low power mode. This is the type of claim that must be corroborated independently, but the battery life in ultra previous models tends to be up to Apple’s promises.
On the health front, the ultra 3 introduces hypertension notifications, a characteristic that passively monitors your cardiovascular data over 30 days to detect coherent signs of chronic blood pressure. If potential signs are found, the watch will alert you to its conclusions, recommending you to consult a health care provider. This is not a replacement for a doctor, but it will tell you if you might be looking for one. This feature, awaiting regulatory clearance, will also be available on Apple Watch Ultra 2 and Series 9 models via a software update.
The Se 3 watch is also a large bump. The most notable improvement is the inclusion of a display always on, a functionality previously reserved for high -end models. The device also earns a fast load, capable of reaching a battery of 80% in about 45 minutes. The on -board S10 chip also allows Siri on the device for faster responses, the “double tap” gesture for control with a hand and a new gesture of “wrist film” to easily reject notifications. The SE 3 is also now equipped with 5 g cellular for improved connectivity.
The Apple Watch Ultra starts at $ 800, while the Apple Watch is 3 starts at $ 250. The two watches are available in pre-order on the Apple website, and they will be available on September 19.
