When the number 25 Byu goes to Colorado on Saturday evening, he will count as a Big 12 conference match.

The teams clashed last December in a rare intra-conference bowl match. The cougars won a 36-14 victory in an Alamo bowl which served as a de facto equality in the Big 12 ranking. At the time of the mega-conferences, Byu and Colorado did not play in the regular season and were one of the four teams that finished equally at 7-2 in conference matches.

“We are a different team from the one who took over in the Alamo Bowl and it is also a different team,” said Byu coach Kalani Sitake. “You can see on the film, they have tons of talents. We are at home, so it will be a difficult environment to play. But, we are looking forward to the match.”

Many has changed for both teams. To start, the cougars (3-0) will seek to open the game of the Big 12 conference with a victory behind the wise game of the quarter Bear Bachmeier.

Byu won a 34-13 victory on the road to the East Carolina last week behind her first-year guide, which made 18 of the 25 passes for 246 yards and a touchdown, and the ball carrier LJ Martin, who had 14 races for 101 yards and a score.

The wide chase Roberts receiver left for its campaign in 2025, with 11 receptions for 185 yards and a touchdown. He needs 31 years to reach the milestone of 2,000 yards for his career.

“Bear made great decisions before,” said Sitake. “He simply did not connect to all the pieces. He seemed to grow a little from the first game in the second half. I think it was good for us to see him do this. I am excited by what he can do. He is very intelligent, has an excellent football, is a big leader, is difficult and things are starting to click for him. We have to make sure to go.”

The Colorado (2-2, 0-1 Big 12) will seek to settle on who is under the center after playing musical chairs with its starting quarter position to start the season. Kaidon Salter torn the Wyoming defense during a 37-20 home victory last Saturday. He made 18 of the 28 passes for 304 yards and three affected. Salter also had 11 rushes for 86 yards and a score.

One of the strikes of Salter was a pass of 68 yards with sincere Brown.

Although he won the quarter-back position starting from the camp, the Senior Liberty transfer had a campaign from top to bottom. He had an uneven performance in an opening defeat of the season against Georgia Tech and was part of a rotation of three men in a victory against Delaware. He then removed the entire opening of the Big 12, a defeat of 36-20 in Houston on September 12.

What was the key to Salter’s solid performance against Wyoming?

“Certainness,” said Colorado coach Deion Sanders. “If you are going to run, run. If you want to launch, throw. Certainly not,” I don’t know what I’m going to do. “He ran with confidence.

Byu has only granted 16 points in his three competitions to date.
