“The Morning Show” was renewed for a fifth season at Apple TV +, one day before the first in season 4.
Featuring Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon, the dramatic series follows the main players in a news program in the morning and the network that broadcasts it. The line 4 line line reads as follows: “With the complete UBA-NBN merger, the editorial hall must tackle the found responsibility, the hidden reasons and the elusive nature of the truth in a polarized America. In a world rivaled with deep buttocks, conspiracy theories and corporate covers – who can you trust? And how can you know what is really real?
With Aniston and Witherspoon, the cast includes Billy Crudup, Mark Duplass, Nestor Carbonell, Karen Pittman, Greta Lee, Nicole Beharie and Jon Hamm. Aaron Pierre, William Jackson Harper, Boyd Holbrook, Marion Cotillard and Jeremy Irons.
Charlotte Stoudt is showrunner while Mimi Leder is a director. Media Res produces the series.
