The MLS archive collection returns with 10 new Adidas Kits inspired by Reto-inspired

Adidas officially launched the second wave of its MLS archive collection, bringing back the third retro inspiration kits for 10 Football clubs in Major League in a bold wink to the early visual identity of the League.
The edition of this year’s collection includes new kits for Charlotte FC, Colorado Rapids, Columbus Crew, DC United, FC Dallas, Minnesota United, Nashville SC, New England Revolution, San Jose Earthquakes and Seattle Sounders.
The conceptions were inspired by the late 1990s and in the early 2000s, embracing an era known for its oversized ridges, its vibrant colors and its daring patterns. Return to horizontal stripes and high contrast elements, each kit channels a distinct visual style from the first years of MLS – now redesigned through a modern lens.
Adidas worked with each club to make tailor -made designs, mixing team heritage with vintage sports media references – including printed advertisements, catalog shoots and a television distribution aesthetic. While the kits strongly look at nostalgia, they are built for 2025 wear, combining modern materials and an attraction of streetwear.
The collection also corresponds to Adidas Gazelle sneakers, retro style jackets and caps, completing a complete look for fans and collectors.
“The third jerseys are still a favorite among our fans, and the vision of this collection on football nostalgia illustrates the commitment of the League to honor the unique culture and history that exist in our clubs and communities,” said Rachel Hoagland, Vice-President MLS of consumer products.
The beginnings in 2024 of the Archive collection – which presented retro kits for Inter Miami, La Galaxy, Lafc, Portland Timbers and Sporting Kansas City – were widely rented by fans and fashion enthusiasts.
The drop of this year is based on this momentum with a larger range and even more daring concepts, continuing the push of Adidas to connect the culture of modern football with the unique past of the League. For old-fashioned kits fans, it is difficult to ignore.
The Complete MLS Archives collection is now available via MLSSTORE.com and Adidas.com.
