The migrant “ migrant ” from Nancy Mace for his own condition is criticized online

The representative Nancy Mace (RS.C.) seems to savor in the new Florida immigrant detention center, a makeshift establishment that is surrounded by a dangerous fauna and has been nicknamed “Alligator Alcatraz” and says that it also wants that its original state of South Carolina has one.

“Dear DHS: We have a swamp and a dream,” wrote Mace on Tuesday on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter. “Let’s talk. The Gators of Southern Carolina are ready. And they are not big on the paperwork. If I were governor, we bring Alligator Alcatraz in South Carolina.”

Mace was criticized on social networks as “disturbed”, “vile” and “grotesque” to celebrate the establishment, which legal experts involuntarily warn to promote human rights abuses. Mace accompanied her post with a selfie showing her bulletproof vest wearing the body – who has not escaped her detractors.

“Your constant need to be the center of attention is really something to do,” wrote a user on X. “Like how someone if empty can consume in a way so much oxygen that our trees work hard to produce? Who have you even borrowed for this photo?”

Others have been much more disturbed by his apparent joy at the prospect of the migrants’ cage.

“It seems perverse. Where is the previous one for this in the teachings of Christ? ” wrote one user, with another person commenting: “Translation: Nancy Mace is in favor of concentration camps for illegal immigrants (soon citizens more than probably).”

President Donald Trump visited the establishment of Florida on Tuesday, which was built in a few days on wetlands overflowing with pythons and alligators, and joked before his trip that immigrants who try to escape will have to learn to flee the mortal predators.

“The snakes are fast but the alligators – we will teach them to flee an alligator. … Do not run in a straight line, run like that,” Trump told the press while making a zigzag movement with his hands. “You know what, your chances are increasing by about 1%.”

The installation, supported by the government of the State and the Ministry of Internal Security, should contain up to 5,000 beds. Trump was joined during his visit by the governor of Florida, Ron Desantis, his former enemies of the GOP during the primary elections of 2024.

While Trump laughs at the way he described his new relationship with Desantis, Mace – who published a video in January on a trip with ice agents to catch underside workers – is being looted for his apparent indifference to their struggle.
