The Mayor of Kingstown Will Never Be the Same After Season 4 Premiere

Warning! This article contains SPOILERS for Mayor of Kingstown Season 4, Episode 1.
Mayor of Kingstown season 4 started off with a bang as the first episode of the season significantly changed the dynamic of the city. Although things in Kingstown have never been calm and quiet, the balance lies with all the different gangs and groups following a set of unwritten rules.
And in the midst of all these groups, Mike McLusky became the unelected “mayor”. A role he uses to broker power and peace talks whenever possible. But despite the resolution of major conflicts Mayor of Kingstown season 3, season 4 might be the most chaotic yet for Kingstown.
With Milo’s death, the feuds in Kingstown could calm down

Between the cops, the Aryan Brotherhood, the Russians and the Crips, there is a lot of conflict within the city limits. However, Mike was able to negotiate terms where each group generally stayed in their lane and avoided pushing too hard against the status quo.
One of the greatest threats to this balance previously was the Russians, as their ambitions exceeded those of Kingstown and they considered themselves above the small-town feuding that took place there. However, when Milo arrived on the scene, he developed an intense hatred towards Mike McLusky.
This led to the Russians making big moves and fighting within the organization with Milo and Konstantin in perpetual conflict. THE Mayor of Kingstown The season 3 finale could have put an end to that with the deaths of Konstantin and Milo, paving the way for local groups to regain control of their territories.
A new principal, a new gang and broken relationships mean Kingstown is no longer the same

Although it would be easier for all groups to fall in line and let Mike draw the lines that will keep the community safe, Mayor of Kingstown Season 4 made it infinitely more difficult to achieve a state of peace with the arrival of several new characters and challenges.
A new gang, led by the mysterious Frank Moses, has arrived in Kingstown, ready to claim some of the territory after the fall of the Russians. A new warden, Nina Hobbs, has also arrived at Anchor Bay with an ambitious dream of cleaning up the prison. And since Kyle was sent to prison, Mike’s attention has never been more divided.
To make matters worse, it appears that Assistant District Attorney Evelyn Foley had a hand in sending Kyle to prison, meaning Mike is now in conflict with the DA’s office. All this could spell certain disaster for Kingstown and for the fragile balance of Mayor of Kingstown season 4.
