The Longlegs star, Maika Monroe, replaces Margaret Qualley as a villain in the Gothic horror film Victorian Psycho

The actor Maika Monroe joined the distribution of the film of psychological horror Victorian Psycho in the role of the “killer head” holder (via THR). Monroe is probably better known for her role as Agent Lee Harker in Longlegs, a detective with a strange psychic connection with the Nicolas Cage transformer serial killer.
The Victorian psycho should be led by Zachary Wigon, more recently from the 2022 sanctuary, and also attached the actor of Jojo Rabbit Thomasin McKenzie. The script is written by Virginia Feito, who also wrote the best -selling book which provides the source material of the film.
The role of the housekeeper, named Winifred Notty, Originally the star of the Margaret Qualley substance on boardMonroe now taking her place after her release from the film.
Located in 1858, the history of the Victorian psycho focused on Winifred Noty de Monroe while it serves as a governess of a majestic but distant Gothic manor. While the other staff members are starting to disappear, Notty’s secret dark side is coming out.
“The intense presence on Maika’s screen has resonated with me repeatedly throughout its history of complex performance,” said director Zachary Wigon in a statement. “I am absolutely delighted for her to bring her unique style of psychological portrait to the fascinating Winifred Noty.”
Monroe will complete a trio of horror films with the main role in a remake of the hand that shakes the cradle, another film on a evil goalkeeper, a murderous nanny, played by Rebecca de Mornay in the original film.
