Kimberley companies and individuals have assumed the prices of the Perth Airport Wa Tourism of this year with 19 inhabitants named finalists.
The list of organizations in the running for a final victory at the Gala dinner which will be held on November 8 in Crown Perth includes the North West, Broome and Around, the weddings and events of Australia Broome, the Freshwater East Kimberley, the events of Ord Valley and the Herispirit.
The nominees at individual prices include William Maher by Kimberley Day Cruise and Sue Thom of Cable Beach Club Resort and Spa.
The winners of the gold medal in 26 of the categories will represent WA at the Australian Qantas Tourism Awards in Fremantle in March 2026.
Mel Virgo, director of the Broome visitors center, said she was delighted that so many of its members withdrew finalist places during the prizes.
“We are incredibly proud to see so many Broome-based operators recognized as finalists at the 2025 Wa Tourism Awards,” she said.
“These appointments present the depth of talents, innovation and the cultural wealth that our region offers.
“For the Visitor Center broomer, it is particularly rewarding to see the hard work and the dedication of our members celebrated on a stage on the scale of the State. Each finalist contributes not only to the experiences of unforgettable visitors, but also to the strength of our economy and our local community.
“Broome really shines like a destination where our operators succeed, and we wish all the best prices to all nominees.”
Kimberley Divina’s MP of Anna said that the depth of local nominees was a celebration of everything Kimberley had to offer.
“This is a real celebration of our region and unique cultural and wild experiences that make Kimberley stands out on the world scene,” she said.
“Our local operators have put their hearts to share our culture, our stories and our spectacular country with visitors, and it is fantastic to see their efforts recognized.
“I wish all our Kimberley finalists the best and I will encourage them – I hope we can celebrate big victories together!”
The price recognizes companies, individuals and destinations for their commitment to excellence, the supply of a platform to examine achievements and innovation, and the opportunity to enhance their profile between industry and consumers.
