The judges of `American Idol ” Luke Bryan, Carrie Underwood, Lionel Richie will return for the new season

The judges of “American Idol” Luke Bryan, Lionel Richie and Carrie Underwood return for the 24th season of the series of successful musical competitions, his ninth season on ABC and Hulu.

The trio shared the announcement in a YouTube video on Monday.

“The class is back in session,” says Bryan in the short clip.

“And this year, we specialize in music because we help launch your dreams,” continues Underwood.

“American Idol” features Ryan Seacrest, Carrie Underwood, Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan.

The three judges compare themselves to teachers in the middle of the rear school season.

“Hello! I am your positivity teacher,” explains Richie, quadruple winner in Grammy and singer-songwriter and veteran producer.

Bryan, a double artist of the year CMA of the year, presents himself, calling himself a “pleasure teacher”.

“Serious … but fun!” He adds.

“Register for my class,” said Underwood, eight times winner of the Grammy. “You will be blown away.”

“The three judges are back for another incredible season from Idol University,” added Richie. “The only thing that is missing is you.”

Last season, Jamal Roberts, professor of EP and father of three Mississippi children, was crowned winner of “American Idol”, after singing an interpretation of Tom Odell’s 2013 song “Heal”.

The hearings of the coming season begin on August 26 as “Idol across America”, live virtual research, starts in the 50 states and Washington, DC, there will also be open date hearings that will be open worldwide to all eligible potential candidates. Specific dates of opening calls are also available for the East Coast on September 12, the South on September 15 and the Midwest and West coast on September 18.
