The Jackpot Powerball increases to $ 1.1 billion on labor day after no winner in the drawing on Saturday

The Jackpot Powerball increased to around $ 1.1 billion after no ticket has matched the six issues in Saturday’s drawing, according to a multi-state press release from the Lotey Association.
The Jackpot of the Monday Labor Day will be the fifth greatest price in the history of the game, noted the agency.
The winning numbers on Saturday evening were the white balls 3, 18, 22, 27, 33 and Red Powerball 17, with a Power Play multiplier of 3.
The chances of winning the jackpot are 1 in 292.2 million, said the association.
If a player wins on Monday, he can choose between the $ 1.1 billion pension or a unique payment of almost half a billion dollars, both before taxes.
“America has waited until the year the chance to play for a billion dollars jackpot,” said Matt Strawn, president of the Powerball and CEO of Iowa Lottery.
In the first case, winners will be paid over 30 years, with immediate payment followed by 29 annual payments which increase by 5% each year. If the winner chooses a lump sum, he will receive $ 498.4 million, according to the Multi-State Lottery Association, which manages the game.
Monday’s drawing will be the 40th since the last jackpot victory on May 31 in California.
The largest Jackpot Powerball never recorded was a price of $ 2.04 billion earned in California on November 7, 2022.
The longest PowerBall race without winner is 42 consecutive drawings, which takes place in April 2024.
Powerball tickets cost $ 2 and are sold in 45 states, Washington, DC, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands.
