The inertia, rage and the endless war of Netanyahu

Although we were looking at the horrible and increasingly insane immission of the civilian population of Gaza, it is important to clearly examine why this happens. “Why” can be too much question. It may be better to try to answer not so big “why” but, in a more concentrated and discreet way, why this war has not stopped. Prime Minister Netanyahu has managed to lose even President Trump now on the question of whether people are starving in Gaza. More importantly, Netanyahu lost some time ago, even fairly hardcore Israeli hawks, which are not members of its power coalition on the reasons why the war continues.

You will remember that for about a year, between 2021 and 2022, Netanyahu was actually out of power and Naftali Bennett was Prime Minister. Bennett is from the world and the “religious Zionist” political camp, and almost all the prospects which is a right -wing and nationalist world. But he directed a coalition of almost all parts of the Israeli political world which was not behind Netanyahu. This extended by his own religious Zionist political party through the center and left of Israeli politics, as it is, and to one of the Arab Islamist parties. A few weeks ago, Bennett said again: we have to end this. Stop war. Return the hostages to the house. We are not going to have a final victory over Hamas. It would be great if we could, but it will not happen. Leave this for another day.
