The Hundred: London Spirit beats the Welsh fire despite Jonny Bairstow hits while the invincible oval beat Manchester Originals | Cricket news

David Warner made his first half-century in the hundred to see London Spirit take the loot against Welsh Fire in Cardiff, despite an exciting 86 by Jonny Bairstow in response.
Bairstow sat behind and absorbed the blows while his fire team fell at 55-6 halfway from their response to Spirit 163, before launching a counterattack at High Octane who caught fire so close to a famous victory.
The sleeves of 50 Bairstow balls contained six six and saw 70 balls pounded with bullets 65 to 95, leaving 17 required from the last five sleeves.
Warner’s sleeves were a different affair, but were just as effective in leading visitors to a formidable total – Australian legend using his experience and we reach 70 points and determine a defendable total on a track that had something for queries.
With the ball, before the Bairstow show, Liam Dawson (1-25) and Richard Gleeson (1-25) were both extremely effective and although they briefly feared that their hard work will be defeated, it was taking place on the board of directors which emerged victorious at the end, while Fire fell eight short-term, the Star of Spirit Kane Williamson (14 OFF 14) and Australian coach Just Changing went around the coach.
Jacks and Muyeye combine for the domination of invincible oval
Will Jacks and Tawanda Muyeye combined to lead invincible oval to a victory for nine gates against Manchester Originals in The Hundred. The opening pair contributed 120 of the 129 points necessary to finish the pursuit of their opponents, Jacks hitting a monster 61 on 26 and Muyeye 59 out of 28.
This makes consecutive victories for the invincibles after their opening victory against London Spirit.
It only took 57 balls for the house outfit to finish their pursuit, Lewis Gregory ending the 144 -point partnership between the opening pair, leaving Muyeye combining with Jordan Cox (seven out of three) to see the pursuit and collect the last 15 required races.
The invincibles had beaten Manchester Originals for only 128, Rashid Khan (3-19) and Saqib Mahmood (2-26) doing the damage.
Winning the draw for the second time of the day, invincible chose to play first and immediately justified the decision. Jason Behrendorff (2-6) hit his opening fate twice, removing Matty Hurst for a first ball duck and Jos Buttler without scoring, reducing the originals to 18-2, 15 balls.
The first counters forced the captain of the originals, Phil Salt, to anchor the sleeves, spending 1,000 points in the hundred in the process.
Salt fought at 41 from 32 but succumbed to the pressure of the assembly, becoming the second victim of Rashid.
Sam Curran (2-17) then returned to the fold by rejecting the first Noor Ahmad balloon, while the originals were lame at 105-7. Despite a last -minute push by Scott Currie (21), visitors could only display 128.
He marks a second defeat for the originals, leaving them without victory.

- The traditional six -balls observed in other forms of cricket are not used in the hundred, with 10 balls overturned before a change of end.
- The PowerPlay is for the first 25 balls in a round, with only two field players authorized outside the circle of 30 yards.
- A game of 25 balls per side is the minimum duration that can be played in case of wet time.
- If a match in the direct elimination stages is equal, a super 5 will be played, the winner being the team marking the most points of five other balls each.
