A truck carrying hot dogs was involved in an accident along an interstate in Pennsylvania, causing a disorderly traffic jam with hot dogs dispersed on the highway.
A Pennsylvania state police spokesman said that a tractor trailer encountered certain mechanical problems along the Interstate 83 Friday, just north of the Maryland state line, which crashed into another vehicle.
The accident caused brushing of the truck against concrete separators, which forced the trailer to open. When this has happened, many hot dogs have come out of the truck.

“Once those who leave the truck and have hit the road, they are all garbage, and it’s still quite hot,” said the head of the Shrewsbury fire company Brad Dauberman.
Officials said four people had been treated for injuries that are not putting their life in danger.

“I can tell you that personally, the hot dogs are very slippery,” said Dauberman. “I didn’t know that.”
