The High Court of Allahabad grants interim protection between the arrest and the rhythm of the RCB Yash Dayal

The genesis of the case lies in a first information report (FIR) tabled on July 6 at the Indiapuram police station in Ghaziabad. The complaint was filed under article 69 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), a provision which deals with sexual intercourse obtained by misleading means. According to Ghaziabad’s wife who filed the complaint, she was involved in a relationship with Dayal for a period of five years. His allegations include the statements that the cricket player has made marriage promises several times, even presenting her to his family as their future daughter-in-law. She also claimed that under this claim, Dayal emotionally, mentally and physically exploited. The complainant also detailed cases of alleged physical violence and mental harassment when she confronted Dayal about her intentions. She also said that she had been emotionally and financially dependent on him and later discovered his alleged involvement with other women.

Yash Dayal’s legal strategy
Yash Dayal, a key figure in the historic victory of the IPL title IPL earlier this year, denied all the allegations on him. The cricket player says he has substantial evidence to refute the complaints made by the complainant. In a proactive decision, Dayal has filed a counter-plain to the Prayagraj police. In his counter-allegations, he accused the flight woman, specifically quoting the disappearance of his iPhone and his laptop. In addition, Dayal said that the woman had borrowed money from him under false pretexts, and he presented what he describes as an incriminating material to support his defense.
After these developments, Dayal asked for an intervention from the High Court of Allahabad, asked not only for a suspension on his potential arrest, but also for the complete cancellation of the FIR deposited against him. After carefully planning the submissions presented by both the cricket player’s legal team and the opposing team, the High Court made opinions to all the relevant parties. This includes the government of Uttar Pradesh, the Ghaziabad police authorities and the complainant herself. These parties were responsible for submitting their respective responses to the Dayal petition. Until these responses are duly received and examined in depth during the subsequent hearing, the provisional protection granted to Dayal will remain in force, preventing any immediate coercive action against the prominent rapid launcher.
