The Grand Final’s trailer invites you to say goodbye to Crawleys

The doors of Downton open one last time – and this time, it’s for goodbye. Downton Abbey: the grand finale officially presented in theaters on September 12And the newly published trailer invites us to the great halls of Crawley Estate for a last emotional visit. After more than a decade of drama upstairs upstairs, spirit -full -minded remarks, romantic tangles and historical milestones, everything comes down to that: a last gathering, a last arc.
Located in a new decade, the trailer does not waste time inaugurating viewers in a world of opulence, music and memory. There is a feeling that we no longer look at a period drama – we are witnessing a slice of history, filtered through the heritage of a captivated show since 2010. And, of course, the Downton rooms have not changed a little. The ghost of Maggie Smith Inimitable Violet Crawley, whose heritage persists like the scent in the living room, haunts the corridors while we travel in a new era.
But the trailer is also tinged with scandal. The perilous marriage of Lady Mary leads the headlines in the newspapers, the arrival of Harold Levinson inaugurates a threat to the very existence of Downton, and the appearance of things that we can really say goodbye to Downton Abbey. Not just the show, not just people, but for the bricks and the mortar itself.
The grand finale brought back almost everyone who has ever set foot on the Downton domain – and then some. The return cast includes Hugh Bonneville,, Laura Carmichael,, Michelle Dockery,, Joanne Froggatt,, Jim Carter,, Raquel Cassidy,, Paul Copley,, Brendan Coyle,, Kevin DoyleAnd Michael Fox. Newcomers Joly Richardson,, Alessandro Nivola,, Simon Russell BealeAnd ARTY FROUSHAN are ready to join the cast.
