The GOP senator laughs at the concerns of Medicaid Cup voters killing people in video sarcastic apology

The senator of Iowa, Joni Ernst, faces the backlash after having published a sarcastic video of a cemetery in response to criticism on his disdainful remarks on the Cups of Medicaid potentially leading to deaths.

On May 30, during a town hall in Parkersburg, in Iowa, Ernst was confronted with a Constituent concerned of the proposed reductions of Medicaid in the bill of expenditure of the Republicans. The legislation is expected to reduce federal funding for Medicaid by 723 billion dollars over ten years and leave 7.6 million additional uninsured Americans, according to the Congressional Budget Office.

When the public member shouted “people die”, Ernst replied with it, “we are all going to die”, leading to the immediate indignation of criticism and democrats. In the days that followed the town hall, Ernst doubled with an Sarcastic Instagram history filmed in a cemetery.

“I made an incorrect hypothesis that everyone understood that yes, we will all perish this land,” she said. She then made fun of criticism by referring to the fairy of the teeth and invoking Christianity, adding: “For those who would like to see eternal and eternal life, I encourage you to embrace my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.”

Ernst later blamed the backlash to “hysteria … from the left”, while defending the tax bill as it was focused on the protection of eligible Medicaid beneficiaries, reported the register of monks.

The video aroused additional criticism from defenders of health care and democrats who declared that Ernst’s tone had trivialized the real human cost of the Medicaid cuts. The demonstrators organized themselves outside its Iowa offices, while several organizations for the defense of defenders launched digital campaigns urging voters to put pressure on the legislators to oppose the bill.

The Senate should vote on the bill on spending later this summer.
