The Golden Globes reveal 25 qualification podcast for 2026

The Golden Globes revealed the 25 titles that qualified for the new podcast category, which will be introduced during the 2026 ceremony. The list includes such popular prints through various demographic data and political trends that The Joe Rogan experience, call his dad, without intelligently, an armchair expert with Dax Shepard, good haungage with Amy Poehler, the ben Shapiro Show, The Bill Simmons Podcast, The Megyn Kelly Show And The Tucker Carlson Show. According to the globes, Luminate determines the 25 main qualification podcasts among all the eligibles according to a list of criteria, including audience scope and engagement, income and graphic rankings, using data. (Luminate belongs to Deadline Parent PMC, which is co -owner of the Golden Globes.)

The 25 best podcasts will now be invited to submit to the consideration of the Golden Globes. Globian voters will determine six nominees for the submission basin.

This marks the first time that podcasts have been recognized by a large film and television prize program. Apart from digital reward shows such as Webby Awards, Ambies, Iheart Podcast Awards and Shorty Awards, Peabody Awards and NAACP Image Awards have presented categories of Podcast.

The appointments for the 2026 globes in all 27 categories will be announced on December 8, the prices awarded during the 83rd Golden Globes on January 11, 2026, when Nikki Glaser returns to host the ceremony broadcast live on CBS and Paramount + with Showtime.
