The former star of the collegiate athlete and WWE, Nia Jax, looked at a surprising sport while growing up

Nia Jax is not unrelated to mix it in the ring with the best of WWE, male or female. But well before she took RKO from Randy Orton, the irresistible force had the objective of delivering a few blows to direct elimination in another physically demanding sport.
In addition to being a WWE women’s champion on several occasions, Jax is a former college basketball player at Palomar College, where she won a championship of the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference. She also tried volleyball, football and softball before finding her way to the square circle.
Nia has developed a competitive advantage at a young age and has always been ready to prove that she could play at the same level, even better, than her brothers – in all the sport they played. This includes football. Her mother, however, did not like the idea that she flows on the grill.
“I developed, you know, a chest and it was just like,” I don’t know if it’s a good idea for you to get there with the pads. And so we have ventured.
During an interview Thursday evening on Thursday evening on ESPN1530 in Cincinnati, Jax declared that she had real aspirations to follow in the footsteps of her brother as second.
“I wanted to hit [the other players]. It was the funny part for me, “said Jax.” When I played football, I have always been the best yellow card and the daughter of the red card. I would always be much more physical on the ground. And this has obviously led to my career now. »»
Jax has been with WWE for more than a decade now and has built his career around one of the most physically dominant artists from the whole business. A mold very similar to that of his native Australian colleagues, Rhea Ripley and Bronson Reed.
“I think we are just more aggressive there. Even my cousins who are there, they are so aggressive. They are rugby players. Have you ever seen a rugby player and looked at them? This is how they have fun. It’s just like no pad, go there. I have a cousin who plays with culture, and watching him, as he is tearing up.
WWE returns to Australia next month when Crown Jewel is emanating from Rac Arena to Perth on Saturday October 11. The wait should be for Jax, Ripley and Reed to everyone to appear in the show.
