Leicester City managed to win the title of Premier League during the 2015/16 season, and the former referee of the Premier League Mark Clattenburg has now revealed that he could have given Foxes favorable decisions that year.
In an interview via the mirror, Clattenburg has now revealed that he had only warned two Leicester City players throughout the campaign because they were good. He also admitted that Leicester City players have probably escaped without reservations or suspension due to fine margins.

Such revelations will certainly arouse controversy and could eventually tarnish the fox fairy tales campaign. There is no doubt that they were the best team in the division that year, but these claims of a former referee of the Premier League could end up undermining their efforts and their hard work.

Meanwhile, the former Leicester City defender Danny Simpson also said that Clattenburg admitted that he wanted Leicester City to win, and therefore decided not to send some of their players during this season.

Leicester City had a talented team at the time, and they deserved the title of Premier League. But the comments of Clattenburg certainly do not go well with the other English clubs in competition with the foxes at the time.
