The former Rangers striker who has scored 5 times more goals than Miovski in 2025

The Glasgow Rangers head coach Russell Martin will be able to start taking results, and quickly, after the first international break of the season.

The Light Blues did not win any of their first four games in Scottish Premiership and was eliminated from the Champions League qualifiers with a 9-1 defeat on the total of Club Brugge.

His prolific performances at the academy level earned him three appearances for the first team, and he marked in a victory over Queen of the South in the League Cup. After this first senior goal, his teammate Scott Arfield described the “magic” in the post-match interview.

Unfortunately, however, URE decided to seize opportunities further in Belgium and scored 12 goals in 38 Youth games of Anderlecht, by transfer, before finishing a permanent move to the Swedish team Sirius in March of this year.

Since its move to Sweden, the 21 -year -old number has established itself as a regular scorer at the senior level with ten goals in the league in 2025, which means that it has scored five times more goals than Miovski (two) for the club and the country this year.

As you can see in the table above, Ure ranks incredibly among its positional peers in Swedish high-flying as a scorer and creator of goals this year.

The return of the Scottish sniper of ten goals is impressive, in particular if we consider that the only objective of Miovski has scored two competitive goals this year, and shows that he is now ready to have a big impact on the first level.

The supporters of the Rangers would have surely been excited if the club spent a few million pounds on a 21-year-old attacker with the statistics that URE established at a decent level in Swedish High-Vol, which is why losing it for remuneration in 2023 was such a blow.

The Scottish giants could not convince the attacker that staying in Ibrox was the best decision for his development, and potentially missed a very promising young goalkeeper who could have strengthened the current team of Martin.
