The CAPE Coral police service has arrested a former North Carolina legislator for driving a suspended driving license.

The police arrested Madison Hawthorn, 29, Wednesday after the publication of a bench mandate because he had missed his accusation of the court.

Hawthorn was cited for driving with a permit suspended on August 19 in the County Collier.

He was reserved and released from Lee County prison after paying his bond of $ 2,000.
