The former Mumbai Indian player wants to use DPL 2025 as Launchpad to make the IPL return

The Premier League of Delhi (DPL) has already helped the IPL teams to do driving in talents like Priyansh Arya and Digvesh Rathi.
Having T20 leagues belonging to franchises is a perfect model for creating future superstars. These state leagues discovered talents such as Varun Chakaravarthy, Ramandeep Singh, Priyansh Arya and many others at the start of their careers. Well, simultaneously, these essential leagues provide platforms for experienced pros who seek to make noticeable feedback. One of these players is Deepak Punia, a former Mumbai Indian player (Mi).
Redemption on cards for Deepak Punia?
India does not often feel spoiled for choices when it comes to having versatile rhythm. But there is a forgotten talent in Deepak Punia, which began his career at the level of the under 19s in Haryana. Thanks to the toilet year after year, Punia continued to play for services, Haryana, Sarashtra and Delhi. He was part of the Sarashtra team who finished as finalists in the 2015-2016 RANJI trophy.
An animated stimulator, which can stick to the lines and lengths, coupled with its crazy abilities to hit the ball for a long time. Fascinating, Punia was part of the Mumbai Indian team (MI) for two years (2016-2017). We all know how brilliantly Mi’s Mi screening team was. They are the ones who first spotted Josh Hazlewood, Nicholas Pooran, Kuldeep Yadav and even Yuzvendra Chahal. So, in all likelihood, they also saw something in Punia. But his career has since proven to have been a big “and so”.
But now the Premier League of Delhi (DPL) has given the 31 -year -old a huge life buoy. Punia, which has experienced an ordinary inaugural season of DPL, has now entered with all the preparations to give in everything. He also started the season with a blow.
Against the title champions of Delhi East Delhi runners, Punia came to beat when her team was 115/4 after 15.3 Overs. New Delhi desperately needed a late boost to go to almost 150. But what followed was an impeccable display to hit by Punia, which beat 41 on only 15 balls. Well, 23 of these races left Navdeep Saini bowling. Saini, who had another bad outing in the DPL, disclosed 23 out of 7 against Punia. He hammered the borders against another stimulator of Prime Minister Akhil Chaudhary.
While Punia could not take a counter with her bowling alley, he has always been a great rhythm launcher. He even learned a few Dale Steyn tips when he was one of the Hyderabad Sunrisers (SRH) as a bowling player. Speaking after the eighth DPL 2025 match, Punia presented her desire to play in IPL.
“Delhi Premier League (DPL) is a fantastic platform. It is a bit easy for players to be chosen in IPL with the DPL. Players need to give their 100%. I did the whole cabinet and I prepared myself in a fairly extended way for this season and playing in the IPL would be the main goal.
