The Foothill League creates respect for its football tradition, success

The Foothill League does not have to sit at the back in any league with regard to tradition and success, from the production of state champions to the League where the coaches of the Harry Welch and Mike Herrington temple was a huge success.
The seven schools which are part of the district of the highiam S. Hart Union secondary school participated on the first day of the media of the Foothill League in Saugus High on Saturday. There is a lot to admire about the League, including the seven schools have sports coaches and six of the seven head coaches are also full-time teachers.
Hart, Canyon and Valence produced their share of NFL players. And this season, Valencia has the talent to run in division 2 or 3 of the southern section with the return of the Ballon Ballon Bonner, a COMMIT of Washington, and the quarter Brady Bretthauer.
Coach Larry Muir enters his 20th season as a head coach and still teaches four American history classes every day. “It is much more pleasant in class,” joked Bretthauer. “He takes care of the football player.”
Bretthauer also revealed how he motivates his lines to block. “If I am dismissed, no inn-nout,” he said.
Even if Muir is challenged daily to balance his time and his commitment to teaching football training, Muir said that he did not want this to be otherwise. “I love being in class,” he said. “I literally do not feel that I will work.”
The league rivalries guarantee the weekly entertainment of Santa Clarita Valley, screwed up. The only problem is the lack of stages. Canyon and Valencia have stadiums and College of the Canyons also hosts games.
“These are playoffs every week,” said Golden Valley coach Dan Kelley. “There is no elbow.”
Golden Valley will have a four -year starter in the line player Evan Nye, a 3 -foot senior 3 inch and 250 pounds.
Castaic turns to Junior Aidan Mojica, a tight old end, as a new quarter-arre. There is a second promising secondary in Lucas Duryea, who will be eligible at the end of September after the transfer of Chaminade.
West Ranch has a first-year head coach at TJ Yonkers. His best defensive return player is Max Piccolino, who had 15 1/2 bags last season.
Carson Soria, a former recipient, moved to the quarter-Arrière for Canyon. It is also the bettor, so beware of games of stuff.
Hart Jacob Paisano’s quarterrier will try to pass the ball to Matix Frithsmith in a variety of ways, whether Frithsmith plays the ball carrier or the slot receiver. Two of Hart players are the sons of the main Jason from other.
Saugus has the son of the director of Valencia, Kullen Welch, playing for them, which should make an interesting game when these two schools play. Beckham Welch is an offensive line player for centurions.
Saugus coach Jason Bornn, who organized the media day, wondered how many championships would be won if the talent of the region was concentrated in one or two schools rather than seven.
“If we only had one or two high schools, Mater Dei and St. John Bosco would have no chance,” he said.
