Given the salary of footballers today, it is just to assume that many do not know how to change a car tire. Decompose on the highway? Most would probably call road assistance.
But thanks to the Chelsea partnership with the official sponsor of Linglong tires draws, this theory has been put to the test – with hilarious results.
In a light video challenge, Chelsea features Tosin Adarabioyo, Noni Madueke and Pedro Neto – dressed from head to toe in combinations in royal blue mechanics – were responsible for changing a tailgate tire, completely unreachable.
The first was Adarabioyo, who managed the challenge surprisingly well, ending the exchange in just over two minutes.
Then came Madueke, whose experience was much less fluid. “Brother, what devil?” He exclaimed in confusion. “In what direction is it supposed to enter?”
When Adarabioyo stressed that Madueke had not even adapted the tire correctly, the winger was quickly disqualified – to the pleasure of his teammates. Laughing, Madueke joked: “Forget it, Bro. Am I a football player or a tire specialist?”
The last increase was Neto, which has shown no signs of pressure and crossed the task in just 1 minute and 32 seconds – the fastest in the group.
Adarabioyo was also not surprised by the result. When he was asked in advance who he thought he was winning, he joked: “Pedro is already really low to the tire, so he doesn’t need to look.”
To judge by Jack’s jokes and misadventures, poor Pedro probably gets Extremely Tyred to hear it.
