The FBI purges the former acting director, other people involved in J6 proceedings

The FBI Thursday oust at least three officials, including the former acting director and an officer involved in the January 6 investigations, Fox News learned.

The former FBI acting director Brian Driscoll is one of those who are forced to leave the office, familiar sources with the case in Fox News, with Walter Giardina, a special agent of the office who played a role in the Trump’s sales advisor, Peter Navarro, and Steven Jensen, the acting director of Trump Trade Office.

Driscoll, for his part, was an acting director of the FBI before the confirmation of the director of the FBI Kash Patel, and Jensen played a key role in the January 6 investigations.

High officials of the FBI have told the agents in question that they should leave by Friday, for no specific reason given to them individually.

An individual with knowledge of the referrals described it as a “remuneration”.
